Rati Amaglobeli

Poet

Rati Amaglobeli was born on March 30, 1977 in Tbilisi.

In 2000, he graduated from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, the faculty of philosophy.

Since 1994, Rati Amaglobeli’s poetry has been periodically published in Georgian and Foreign literary editions.

Since 2011, he has been the president of Georgian Pen-Centre. In 2010-2011, he was the editor of the journal “Hot Chocolate”. Furthermore, he delivers weekly public lectures in the “Book House”. In 2005-2010, he was the host of the literary program “The History of Voices” at Georgian Public Broadcasting Radio.
