Kote Jandieri

Kote (Konstantine) Jandieri was born on May 23, 1958 in Tbilisi. In 1980 he graduated from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, the faculty of geography-geology. In 1978-1980 he worked as a secondary school teacher. In 1979-1990 he was a junior scientific member of staff at the Botanic Institute of the Georgian Academy of Sciences. In 1989-1994 he was an editor of the film-studio “Shemoqmedi” (Creator), a member of artistic board of film-centre “Kartuli Filmi” (Georgian Film) and a teacher at the faculty of humanities, TSU. He is a member of Writers’ Club “XX Saukune” (21st Century). Kote Jandieri’s story “Cartridge of Different Caliber” is included in the Anthology of Georgian Prose published in Germany.
