Irakli Samsonadze

Irakli (Lasha) Samsonadze was born on May 31, 1961. He graduated from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, the faculty of journalism (1978-1983). In 1985 his first play “At Midnight” was published in the journal “Art”. In 1992-1996 he was a deputy editor-in-chief of the anthology “Dramaturgy”. In 1996-1998 he was appointed as an editor-in-chief of the given anthology. In 1988-1989 he worked at the film studio “Georgian Film” which was supervised by Rezo Tabukashvili.
