Irakli Kakabadze

Writer, Performance Artist

His short stories have been published in Georgian, Russian and English journals. From 2008, Irakli Kakabadze has been living in New York, USA where he worked out a new method. In this method he combined performance and social sciences and called it “Re-thinking of Tragedy” or “Transformative Performance”. In addition, he was a pioneer who introduced multilingual style of performance, so-called polyphonic discourse.
