Erlom Akhvlediani

Erlom Akhvlediani was born on November 23, 1933 in Tbilisi. Died on March 20, 2012. In 1957 he graduated from Tbilisi State University, the faculty of history. In 1964 he took higher scriptwriting courses in Moscow. Between 1959 and 1960 he worked as an Inspector of the Society for Cultural Monuments’ Protection. Between 1967 and 1968 he was a Chief Editor at the Feature Television Film Studio of the Television and Radio Committee; a member of Creative Union of Writers at the Georgian Film Movie Studio (1971-72); Chief Editor of Television Film Studio (1979-87), leading teacher at Tbilisi State Theater Institute (1982-87; 1995-99).
