Davit Kartvelishvili was born on July 6, 1976 in Tbilisi. He is considered to be the most interesting contemporary writer. His novel “It was Evening, It was Morning” released in 2006 still remains as his most popular work. In 2010-2011, he was a president of Georgian Pen-Centre. His short stories have been regularly published in periodical editions. His texts are distinguished by original style and dynamic plot.
