Aka Morchiladze (Giorgi Akhvlediani)

Aka Morchiladze was born on 10 November, 1966 in Tbilisi. In 1988 he graduated from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, the faculty of history where he has been working for the last 17 years. He is married and has two children. In the early 1990s he worked as a journalist for the “Resonansi” and several yellow papers. His novel “Dogs of Paliashvili Street” was later adapted as a play and was first staged in 1999 in Sandro Akhmeteli Theatre. His books are best-sellers in Georgia (in 2013 he sold 15.000 copies).
